Captini Limited is a company registered at 70 Wilson Street, London, EC2A 2DB, United Kingdom (registered under company number: 08628175). Our technical infrastructure is provided by Amazon Web Services and is accessible all over the world.
1. License to Use
Permission is granted to temporarily access to the scanour.menu platform and services owned and operated by Captini Limited for commercial use only (whether it be in the context of an individual or an organization). This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials;
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the scanour.menu platform or service;
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
- Transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server.
- Use supplied scanour.menu contactless menu cards or supplied custom branded contactless menu cards with any other service other than your scanour.menu account. This includes contactless menu cards that are either paid or supplied free of charge under a trial period.
- Use this service for any unlawful or malicious purposes or use the service for uses that is was not intended.
- This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated at any time.
The materials on scanour.menu's service are provided “as is”. Captini Limited makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, Captini Limited does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet service or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.
In no event shall Captini Limited or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on scanour.menu's service, even if Captini Limited or a Captini Limited authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
4. Revisions and Errata
The materials appearing on scanour.menu's service could include technical or contents errors. Captini Limited does not warrant that any of the materials on its service are accurate, complete, or current. Captini Limited may make changes to the materials contained on its service at any time without notice. Captini Limited does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.
5. Free Trial Period
All scanour.menu plans come with a minimum 14 day trial which can be canceled via the online dashboard https://my.scanour.menu/my-account/plans. After a free trial period has elapsed, the subscription is then considered as active and fees are applied. The remaining trial period (end date) is available from the plans tab in the online Dashboard.
scanour.menu ship you a limited number of standard contactless menu cards with your free trial. In the event that your free trial ends and you cancel your account these cards will be disabled.
Free trial periods are only valid once per legal entity. Once a free trial period has elapsed the account can only be used under an active paid subscription.
In the event that Captini suspect a new free trial account is linked to a previous elapsed free trial or location address. Captini have the right to refuse shipment of inclusive free contactless menu cards and or deletion or suspension of the new account.
scanour.menu is accessible as a limited free trial and as a paid subscription service. The scanour.menu subscription plans (Essential and Pro) are subject to fees (see section 7 below).
An initial charge will be made against the registered credit or debit card the following day after your free trial period ends. This fee charged will be calculated up to the last day of the month. For example if your trial ends on the 21st June your first charge will be from the 22nd June to 30th June for 8 days. You would then be charged a full month on the 1st July recurring thereafter.
Monthly subscription fees are then pre-paid in-advance and charged automatically every 1st of each month. All Fees are non-refundable, i.e. there are no refunds or credits for periods where the Client did not use an activated Account, used it only partially, or deactivated the Account or terminated these Terms during an ongoing payment interval.
scanour.menu also offers yearly payments. Switching to yearly payments can be requested by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Yearly payments are non-refundable once paid.
Payment can only be made via credit card and fees are automatically charged from your registered credit or debit card. If fees are not paid in the following 14 days, Captini has the right to permanently delete the Account and or disable contactless menu card, including all Client Data therein.
When subscribing to a scanour.menu paid service (upgrading a plan), or adding a payment method, the user must ensure the email address provided for the scanour.menu account is valid, able to receive emails from us, and emails we will deliver to that email inbox are read by the user (eg. paid invoices or unpaid invoice notifications).
The scanour.menu paid service shall be used by legal entities only (businesses and non-profits). It should not be purchased by private individuals, though they can still use the product as a limited free trial.
By adding a payment method to their scanour.menu account, the user consents to be charged for any active paid subscription, any ordered standard or custom contactless menu cards as well as paid subscriptions coming out of trial period. We will automatically attempt to pay any past and present unpaid invoices or balances on the user account when a new payment method is added, using that new payment method. No fees will be incurred for the free trial period even if a card is registered on the user account.
Fees are charged at per the following subscription rates per active location. Active locations are listed in the online Dashboard under the locations tab.

The currency of an account is set to a single currency based on the country address of your initial shipping address provided at the time of registration. Accounts within the United Kingdom will be charged in GBP. Accounts within Europe will be charged in EUR. All other accounts will be charged in USD.
In addition to the above subscription fees users can make one time purchases from within the Dashboard for optional standard or customer contactless cards and standby SMS credits. These optional fees are charged immediately to the registered credit or debit card.
Captini has the right to change the fees at anytime. Captini will notify users of any price changes 30 days in advance via email to the accounts registered email address.

10. Governing Law
Any claim relating to Captini Limited's service shall be governed by the British laws of England and Wales without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
By using scanour.menu and Captini's services, you commit to use the service in accordance with these principles. On its side, Captini Limited undertakes to provide a reliable service and comprehensive communication.
